Expected release of Quicktime Tool integrated with Sakai version of Project Pad. (Already available in stand-alone Project Pad.)

This tool will allow users to create a web site by inserting clips of video, audio, and images selected with the annotation tools. The Flash-based image viewers used in the Encyclopedia of Chicago (see http://www.encyclopedia.chicagohistory.org/ ) will be used to display images.

New version of image annotation tool that will:

1. Allow zooming on images without a dedicated server. (Tiles will be requested directly from a standard web server by the client.)

2. Include the "wax pencil" tool to allow free-form drawing on annotated images.

Improved data caching. Server tuning.

Release of repository integration tools.
