Project Pad includes a tool for searching and managing content stored in external digital media repositories.

The Search Tool lets you find and access digital media from online repositories including Z39.50 library catalogs, Google and Amazon (a version accessing Fedora repositories is in the works). The tool is based on a sophisticated (but easy to use) query language called Common Query Language (CQL).

When you enter a query and receive the results, you will be presented with a list of images, sounds, and video clips. You can fetch your results as either a set of links in an HTML page, or as a zip archive.
